St Louis, MO Marian Middle School The Actuarial Foundation's Advancing Student Achievement (ASA) mentoring program continues at Marian Middle School. Mentoring opportunities will allow you to: Work with students: The purpose of the “Advancing Student Achievement through Economic Literacy” program is to provide enjoyable, hands-on activities that will improve 8th grade students' core math skills. Participate in innovation: Marian Middle School staff, with the support of actuarial mentors, will teach a Junior Achievement curricula called Finance Park in an after school program. Finance Park is an economics program for 8th graders that introduces them to personal finance and career explorations through classroom instruction and hands-on experience. You will also have a chance to see how students apply what they've learned in a 'real world' community at Junior Achievement. Work in a fun environment: Marian Middle School offers a quality education for 6th through 8th grade girls who live in the St Louis Metropolitan area.
