2001 Georgia State Bowles Symposium

The Actuarial Foundation provided a grant of $10,000 in support of the May 2001 Thomas P. Bowles Jr., Chair of Actuarial Science Symposium on The Coming Revolution in Insurance Accounting. The symposium was held May 16-17, 2001.

The Bowles symposiums continue to develop a rich tradition of thoughtful examinations of the complex environment in which actuaries practice.

Papers presented at the symposium are scheduled to be published in the January 2002 issue of the North American Actuarial Journal (NAAJ).
