Actuarial Research Activities

Purpose: The leaders of the actuarial organizations in North America identified a broad objective for the research coordination effort. The goal is to establish a forum for the communication of research needs and activities among these organizations and other actuarial research facilitators in order to help the organizations set research agendas, use limited resources effectively and ensure that research addressing the needs of the actuarial profession is conducted  and communicated in a timely and effective manner.

The AERF Committee's focus is to facilitate reporting about possible research activities across organizations and the exchange of ideas regarding research activities, identifying possible cooperative efforts and potential gaps in the professionâs research efforts.

Your comments and input are welcome. Please contact Curtis Huntington, Committee Chair, to help develop a vehicle that will serve the actuarial profession.
