The main thrust of the program will be an after-school “Multicultural Mathematics” club. The students will exercise their brains by playing math games and solving math puzzles from all over the world. These games and puzzles will help students learn about the similarities in the global community.

Actuarial mentors are an integral part of the program. They share their love and enthusiasm for mathematics and for math-related activities. The actuaries’ presence allows students to ask questions, share what they are learning, and hear about how mathematics is used in the ‘real world.’
