Wynn kent Award Submission Form

 

 

Eligibility

The Wynn Kent Public Communication Award is available to all members of the actuarial profession who have contributed to the public awareness of:

  • The work of the actuarial profession; and
  • The value of actuarial science in meeting the financial security of society in the fields of life, health, casualty, pensions, and other related areas.

Recognition may be for a single event or a lifetime of achievements in public awareness.

Actuaries employed by actuarial organizations are eligible for nomination, as well as actuaries outside of the U.S. Self nominations are welcome.

Award

  • $1,000 (U.S.)
  • Plaque of Recognition
  • Waiver of registration fee for the Annual Meeting of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries where the award is presented.
  • Award may or may not be given annually. It will be based on the eligibility and quality of nominations received each year.

Selection Process

Award nomination(s) are reviewed and selected by the Wynn Kent Public Communication Award Committee, made up of past presidents of the Conference.

The Actuarial Foundation will notify winner(s) in the summer. Awarding will be based on the eligibility and quality of nominations received each year. There is no guarantee an annual award will be made.

Deadline

Nominations must be received by April 30.
