Foundation Announces O’Connor Scholarship Winners

The Actuarial Foundation is pleased to announce that four outstanding high school graduates have been awarded the John E. O’Connor, Jr. Scholarship.

The winners were selected from among nearly 400 applications from high school seniors in the U.S. and Canada. Each of these students are greatly deserving of the JEO Scholarship Award of $2,500.

Elette C. Boyle, Yamhill, OR, attending California Institute of Technology, majoring in Cryptography.

Alexander P. Frazier, attending Grove City College, majoring in Mathematics Secondary Education.

Ilya Gurevic, Madison, WI, attending Vanderbilt University, majoring in Mathematics, Probability & Statistics.

Alice R. Pang, Baton Rouge, LA, attending Stanford University, majoring in Mathematics, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science.
