2004 Industry Leaders' Clambake
Insurance Executive Symposium

The Actuarial Foundation’s annual Industry Leaders’ Clambake was held in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin on August 8 and 9, 2004. Over 100 industry executives gathered for this annual event, raising funds for The Actuarial Foundation’s cornerstone program, Advancing Student Achievement (ASA). This award-winning program brings actuaries and educators together in voluntary partnership to enhance student mathematics achievement in schools and programs across the country. With funding from the Foundation and local volunteer actuaries, programs are developed to help students understand and appreciate the science and beauty of mathematical problem solving.

The proceeds from this event benefit the youth education programs of The Actuarial Foundation. The past and continued success of this event is due to the generosity of our corporate sponsors. Although the genesis of the annual Clambake had more of a social nature to it, the ever-increasing power of the symposiums has created an attractive balance of fun and thought at this charitable event.
